Operating rooms

Alienating _Otherworldly _Austere. It is the operating room. The place of life and death, where stories of human lives are played out at the crossroads of the beginning and the end. The first and foremost stop in the cycle of life, and then again the final one down the line. It is distant. It is eerie and it is sombre. It is strangely electrifying. The icy glow of stainless steel, the glaring lights from above. Everything around feels foreign, but it all makes sense. No other place can spark utmost hope, yet induce sheer trepidation. No other place but this can make one look at life with fresh eyes.
